Nakamoto Bonus distribution

See how each block reward is split, what changes η, and why the same ATONE can earn a different protocol-level rate at each validator rank.

Per validator

Each of 100 validators

Every block reward is split into a stake-weighted part and an equal part. The total reward does not change; η only changes how it is distributed.

Weekly adjustment input

Top vs bottom third

The protocol compares average stake in the highest- and lowest-stake thirds of the bonded set. This is separate from the one-third concentration boundary.

Validator reward allocation at η 7.00%

93.00% stake-weighted · 7.00% divided equally

The equal portion is split across every bonded validator before individual delegator rewards and the fixed validator commission are accounted for.

Historical accounting

What needs a reward ledger

The chain exposes the community pool and a validator’s current unclaimed rewards, but it does not return a single all-time table of every automatic allocation and withdrawal.

Available immediately

Current pool balance, annual provisions, inflation, and the live η split are read directly from AtomOne REST.

Event-based η reconstruction

The Observatory reads immutable BeginBlock reward events, applies the η coefficient committed before each allocation, stores five-minute buckets, and continues indexing every new block. It is not a delegator-claim ledger.

Reward multiplier

Protocol reward by validator rank

Reward per staked ATONE versus the proportional baseline. The vertical scale is logarithmic, so 1×, 2× and 4× stay readable; commission is not included.

Use this with care

Distribution is one delegation signal, not investment advice.

η does not set APR

It changes protocol allocation. Emissions, validator commission, uptime, and future staking conditions still matter.

Lower stake is not automatically safer

Review validator performance, operations, identity, and commission independently before delegating.

The trigger is weekly

The top-to-bottom comparison informs η adjustment at weekly epochs; the displayed state can change before then.
